I have a 2003 NB2 and had a 2008 NC1 PRHT and the saying is true that the NA/NB are better Miatas and the NC is the better car. NBs are easy to work on with parts that are generally cheaper. They also represent 90's engineering for better or for worse - lower cowl and doors but noodle like chassis stiffness.
