They hit for like 11 k …Tossing the firebomb ninjitsu at those slime yokai is a great way to level up your proficiency very fast since they're terribly weak to fire and there's an early mission with three or so clustered up near a shrine. I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head, but it's a side mission that spawns you near Yatsu no Kami's area.A Ninjutsu build will always be very fragile, and even tank builds are dying in a few hits at best. Just get used to the damage and rely on using Quick-Change Scrolls properly. Don't forget they get reloaded along with Kunai and such when you have used Living Weapon thanks to the Iga Set bonus. With that set you can do heavy damage, at least.Feb 21, 2021 · I wanted to recreate my Ninjutsu build from 1 but sadly, the Kunai & Shuriken thing is not good this time. Roughly half the uses from Nioh 1 with roughly half the damage. It's trash even with fully customized gear and 100% more damage. I still stick to it because there is Sloth and Weakness on Ninjitsu hit in the game.
For accessories, the max is just 4.9%. In total, I think the max untouched onmyo you can get 51.8%. That's if you've managed to get 4.9% on all 5 pieces of armour, max the familiarity so that goes up to 5.4%, then rolls 4.9% on both accessories, and used the Genmei set for the 15% bonus with 5 pieces equipped.
Other than maxing out your Dexterity if you want an optimized damage build you'd need to roll Shuriken + Kunai damage to all your armour pieces (through inheritables) and accessories, i.e. Yasakani Magatama and Writing Set, they both can roll that stat. I didn't even know how big the damage taken different was between light and heavy armor, or how high ninjutsu damage scales if you really go for it.
