So, if you wanna realism – play JGR, if you need the real, casual and unrealistic gameplay – play OpenTTD. It really isn't about realism, either. It's mostly about whatever JGR wants to put into it in order to make his own games more enjoyable. Cardinal directions are like north south east west etc. Of the 4 directions the shores travel in game, firs water assets can only be placed on two. AdmiralAI and trAIns had good starts, but the game turned into a duel between SimpleAI and my company (Gartbridge Transport). In 1950, the game started.
