I use glosSI. Put the game as a shortcut to the desk top. Add that shortcut to glosSI. Then save. It will then show add to steam button. Restart steam. Now everytime you launch the game through steam glosSI will activate the controller. Click the + sign in the bottom right and choose what kind of app you are trying to run. The UWP option will list Gamepass games installed on your drive, or add a regular .exe from Battle.net or another service. After doing that click on the Steam icon in the main menu to add it to your Steam library.
Kind of a side but I've been working on the sc-controller windows drivers for the Deck and SC, but with a focus on the keyboard functionality. Things I've fixed: pressing shift now correctly shows key modifiers SC keyboard input still works on the deck (doesn't apply square function) Bluetooth driver for the Steam Controller on Windows Connecting via desktop just seems to be a more reliable interface in my opinion. Go to the power menu > switch to desktop.
